Sorry for not posting here for a while! I’ve had internet trouble, but thank the Lord, it’s all back to normal again now.
While I’ve been offline, I’ve had the opportunity to sort through my photos. I also discovered the Picasa has upgraded… the new version, Picasa 3, has some really neat features. The one I particularly like is the ability to synchronize my offline Picasa albums with my online ones. They’ve made it really easy to keep the online albums updated.
So, I’d love for you to take a look at … http://picasaweb.google.com/jeanettes.ozpix
I’m still uploading and adding tags and captions… but please feel free to download any you like. I’ve changed the licensing setting to Creative Commons, so that ordinary folk can freely use and share them on the web, without seeking permission. I especially wanted to do this for my Christian brothers and sisters. You may want to use them for powerpoint presentations, or for sharing online.
I just ask:
- that you keep them as they are, and not make any changes,
- that you attribute the work to me, and
- so I can guage what is being used, could you add a comment on the image?
And I will also have the same images available for sale in high resolution (printable size), ready to download. Just send me an email at jeanettes.ozpix[at]gmail.com , if you are interested.
Anyhow, please enjoy them and be blessed by them! And KEEP…

I forgot to mention, I have another favourite photo site and that is Flickr. I love it for the community, and the ability to interact with others as you share your photos.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/jeanetteb1/
So I find that there are lots of features in Flickr that are better than Picasa… and then Picasa is better in other ways. I like how Picasa has organized albums better, and I do love the synchronizing feature.
So I’m using Picasa just to show images and albums, and I’m using Flickr to interact, and to say more about the photos. With Picasa, I’ve left the filename as the original filename from the camera.
And that’s another difference… Flickr has “titles and descriptions” and Picasa has “filenames and captions”. My titles in Flickr are descriptive, whereas my Filenames in Picasa are just a numbers for easy identification.
And the main difference is, my Flickr is for FUN, and my Picasa is for PRACTICALITIES!!
I invite you to visit both!! Please enjoy!!
And…
… then I have Slide!! … which I’ve shared using slideshows on this blog!!
It’s a way to share photos as slideshows… http://jeanetteb1.slide.com/?public_pr=true
